Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 ripe bananas (1.25-1.5 cups mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cup all-purpose flour

Steps

  1. pre-heat oven to 350
  2. butter a 4x8 inch loaf pan
  3. In a mixing bowl
  4. mash bananas with fork
  5. stir in melted butter
  6. mix in baking soda and salt
  7. stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla
  8. mix in flour
  9. pour batter into pan
  10. bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick can be inserted and removed without residue
  11. take out of oven and let cool
